Fantastic value for money. Everything about the trip was amazing. Big boat to Ang thong - with tea, coffee, fruit and muffins. Long tail boat to The beach. The photos don’t do justice. It’s beautiful. The climb in the heat it’s pretty tough, but views are amazing. Back on the big boat for lunch with was really nice. Then to another area for kayaking through the caves. Then another mountain viewpoint over emerald lagoon. Then snorkling and relaxing on a different beach. All the staffs are so friendly. Amazing experience.
Paradise in earth

Great experience to do when you stay in Koh Samui. Guide very funny and detailed in explaining what to do and describing locations to visit. The two islands which we have visited are wonderful, mainly the view at the top of mountain in the second island was wonderful. Here we have also sees beautiful monkeys. Unique negative aspect is that the snorkeling activity doesn’t allow to view interesting things as no fishes were present when we did the activity.
Great day

Not ideal but generally a good trip

Let me summarise the good and the bad.
Good:
-Kayaking (highlight of our trip. Our children aged 12,19 love it too.
- view at the top of the mountain at Ang Thong marine Park was fabulous. Be prepared for an arduous climb. Preferably with track shoes.
- lunch was simple but delicious. Chicken curry, pickled vegs and fruits.
- big boat with toilet. So we could change our clothes, get up and walk around. Probably better than speedboat esp for those prone to sea sickness.

Bad:
-Too much time on travelling. Because we were the 1st to be picked up, it took 1hr to get to the pier. Afterwhich it took 1.5hrs to get to the islands. The return trip took 2hrs and another 45mins transfer back to our hotel. In total, we spent 5+hrs on travelling alone.

- too little time for activities. Kayaking was only about 40mins. Plus another 45mins on an island to take in the view.
- at the park, we were given 2hrs. Do take note that this is enough for only 2 activities so you will have to plan your time properly. Choose either cave exploration or up the mountain. We climbed up the mountain to take in the view. This took abt 1+hr. By the time we got down, we have only a little time for the beach and sea.
Rushed visit to the park

This trip could be a good value depending on your expectations. We traveled Sept 2022 and booked a few days in advance. We enjoyed most of the trip but if you want to kayak and snorkel review the time itinerary and note you will have only 20 or 30 minutes to do each activity which was not enough. We also were disappointed that the group size was 100-120 people not 50 as listed and the tour was not English only. It’s more of island transport with provided food and kayak and snorkels, there’s not much tour on the sense that it’s not really guided and the staff doesn’t do much to explain the park, history, wildlife etc.. The lunch was pretty good (chicken and rice and salad) and they provided one bottle of water and some soda and snacks. There’s an option to buy water in the park before the optional, tough and worthwhile hike up to the observation point at the first stop. We were very rushed at the second stop trying to kayak, hike to the lagoon and snorkel all in 90 min or so. We also found the snorkels were moldy and tried to wash them off but it was a bit gross. The snorkel spot has some fish but with wind and waves and no large reef it’s not ideal snorkeling. Hotel pick up was smooth. Next time I’ll opt for a speedboat and smaller tour group to visit the marine park.
Budget sailing in rough waters with many people to see few islands and stick to a tight schedule.

The 'big boat' experience was a nice day out but this particular tour (there are many) left us wanting. Why? Because too much time is spent eating, sailing and waiting. Additionally, there is little time allocated to actually exploring, learning and being informed about the park. Bottom line? It felt rushed and lacked depth; that is, no explanation about the park or description of features was undertaken. If you've ever been to China and taken a tour you'll know what I mean. It felt to the seven of us that we were being herded from one place and event to another on a tight timeline. We saw almost nothing of the Ang Thong island chain except for one island passage where we hiked up a very steep rock trail to a lookout point for a selfie moment. Even the inland salt lake (fed by the ocean) was inaccessible with no way to swim there. The stairs were frighteningly steep; I mean almost vertical! You cannot fall! Fit people like myself negotiated the narrow steep staircases but I can imagine what the far less active people around me thought. There were three monkeys up in a tree at the foot of the lookout trail. The floating docks were heaving up and down as we walked the 50 meters to the boat. I thought it was kind of fun and a challenge but many didn't, trying to keep their balance and not go for an unplanned swim ;-) The ride to the islands and back can be daunting Tor some. Many days of the year sailing in a 35 meter vessel in the open sea can result in sea sickness or just keeping your personal effects from flying overboard. Moving around was not safe while underway. But this a common problem when on the sea here; not just to this tour. Our trip to Koh Tau on a larger Lamprayah ferry was worse where dozens of people vomited; not a pretty sight. Here at least we were all outside and we're able to roll with waves and watch the horizon to minimize seasickness. In summary: the price of this tour is low so I didn't expect much. But the boat staff seemed helpful and the facilities were acceptable, even the head (toilet). The meal on board was hot, tasty and sufficient; no complaints.
Very long waiting and...

Very long waiting and explanations.. more time could be saved for activities.. did the cave but didnt have time for the summit. It shall be mentioned in the description that you can only do one. You cant just go snorkelling at the beach within the marked area with the buoys.. there was nothing to see there.
