Ferry service from Koh Samui to Ko Phan Gan

I used online booking for booking the ferry directly on the FerrySamui website. The ferry time was 04:30 PM. I realized that we will have plenty of time to pass after landing at Samui Airport and there possibilities of catching the 01:00 PM ferry. I sent an email to FerrySamui and they confirmed that if I am able to make it to the ferry terminal by the 01:00 PM ferry time, they will accommodate us in 01:00 PM ferry without any rescheduling charges. That was a pleasing surprise to us. The ferry is quite good with 2 decks of seating with an outdoor seating and smoking area. The ferry was almost on time with slight delay. The luggage handling was satisfactory. There are some snacks available on board on payment basis. Overall a satisfactory experience.

Travelled koh samui to koh phangan over christmas. The ferry terminal is chaos! Manually shouting for passengers of particular crossing whilst everyone is massing by the entry gate. For our crossing they called only for Koh Tao passengers they said to get their bags on first. When they called koh phangan they said first 90 passengers only as they didnt have room and the others would get 'next' ferry with no idea when it would be. We were lucky and got on!
Listen very carefully for their manual announcements particularly the one about holding your own ticket or you wouldnt get on either!
