Welcome to a Thai version of the Bahamas! Pig Island is a tiny and lovely island. It is located south of Koh Samui and close to Taen Island (Koh Tan or Coral Island). When you come on this island, you will be surprised that some pigs are living here. They came from Taen Island, they swam across the sea to live on this island. We can go to Pig Island by speedboat of the trip that always stops here to relax on the pure white sandy beach.

What To Expect
Koh Tan
Arrive at Tean Island for the best coral reef in the area, where you are snorkeling. Ko Taen is an island, approximately 15 kilometers off the mainland and five kilometers south of Ko Samui in the Gulf of Thailand. It is part of the Samui archipelago, which includes about 60 other islands.

Koh Madsum is an island gem off the coast of Koh Samui. With an outstanding stretch of sand and fantastic clear water, making Koh Madsum popular among snorkelers, the island recently became famous for another reason. Rebranded to Pig Island, Koh Madsum welcomes daily visitors with a myriad of semi-wild pigs, who stroll around the island. Here, you can beach comb among piglets, snorkel, or kayak along the shore.

Nice and cleaned beaches. Love the nature here. Trekking to the viewpoint is nice too. Too easy to get there with local tour. People are so nice and warm welcome. I visited during Covid19, it was the quiet time in entire year.

Das Wasser beim Schnorchel war unklar und ĂĽberfĂĽllt mit Touristen. Die Schweineinsel hatte nur um die 10 Schweine welche kaum am Wasser sind. Das Personal war freundlich und konnte gut Englisch sprechen.
