5 hr - Koh Tan is popular for snorkeling and swimming. Giant clams, coral, and various tropical fish live in and around the protected reefs of Koh Tan. When snorkeling be mindful of stepping on coral to prevent damage to the reef and to yourself. South of Koh Tan with its white sandy beaches is Koh Madsum. A popular island for a day trip and picnics with the locals. We booked and paid for the afternoon/sunset trip. Within 10 minutes of booking completion we received a message that the sunset tour was not possible and requested to change to the morning tour. We accepted to take the morning trip. Then we were told that towels were not possible due to the Covid despite the fact that we were loaded into a boat with virtually no space available. The boat trip was very short, the snorkelling was average to poor. The lunch was basic but actually very good. Pig island was really nice to visit. Staff were friendly but the boat was not in good condition and too many people onboard. The pick up and drop off from the hotel was good
