Great day outâŠfrom pick up to drop off. Excellent crew, fantastic snorkelling and tasty lunch. A few things to bear in mind, if you sit inside the boat you donât see anything, so try to move around during each stop to maximise the views. Donât take the sickness tablet that is on offer unless absolutely necessaryâŠ.it sends you to sleep

We went on a snorkel tour through our hotel and it was fabulous! We went all around the island and made about 5 snorkel stops! The snorkeling was great, lots of reefs with coral and fish. The boat was a local fishing boat and it had a canopy, which I would recommend. The lunch stop was on the beach with excellent food.

Wow what a day! Brilliantly organised from pick-up right to the end. We had a light breakfast on the pier before starting - gorgeous fried donuts with sweet condensed milk topping! The boat ride to the first stop was 2 hours - after half an hour the sea became super choppy even in bright sunshine with no storms or wind - be warned, youâre offered a sea sickness tablet at the pier for a reason - accept it! We were fine but many weee not and there was a lot of sickness on the boat! The Mr Tu team weâre amazing with this - really kind and had plenty of sick bags! We sat on the outside where conditions allowed and it was a stunning trip - in spite of some passengers being ill. The first stop was Koh Nangyuan and wow! Simply breathtaking! Great snorkelling and beautiful beaches. Next stop was lunch at Sairee Beach on Koh Tao. fab food, plenty of it in a beautiful setting on the beach. Then two more snorkelling stops from the boat. The team are just brilliant at helping on and off the boat each time - so patient and kind. Unlimited soft drinks and beer on the boat. Plus life jackets and snorkel equipment. Amazing snorkelling with massive fish! It is an 8 hour day and worth every penny - we loved it!

Driver arrived early which was fine as he didnât mind waiting while finished getting ready. When we arrived at the pier it is a giant tourist scheme, which is fine and it is run very well but you just have to have patience with the other guests. Speedboat was as expected - couldnât see out the sides but we knew this from other reviews. Guide gave us the excellent tip at Koh Nang Yuan to do the lookout hike first before all the other boats unloaded their guests and this left plenty of time for snorkeling. The Mr Tu staff position themselves well around the island to help guests. We loved the snorkeling itself. While a lot of the coral was bleached, we loved getting to see lots of fish at all three places the boat stopped. Lunch had some nice options. I recommend you bring snacks with you as itâs a big day.

Many big and colourful fishes. Probably the best snorkeling experience in Thailand that I have experienced. Only snorkled in Krabi area before Covid earlier :-) We used the company called something like Sea discovery (?)

Very well organised and good valur for money. Beautiful scenery although much too many people visiting to be preserving the spots. Dead corals should be left to rest by highening price of visit and limiting tourists affluence.

Pick up from resort was on time. Mr Tu's pier has free tea and coffee and doughballs with condensed milk sauce. Friendly cats and dogs as well. Organisation was good and we left after about 20-30 minutes of arriving at the pier. Boat journey was a little bumpy, nothing troublesome for some however kids struggled and we had to turn around after 10 minutes of travelling for a whole family and a half to leave the trip due to the motion sickness. No complaints but perhaps those with younger children should take this into consideration as the trio out and back was over an hour each way.
We had 3 snorkeling locations to explore, one location in the morning, two after lunch. Lunch was nice, and as vegetarians, we were happily surprised by a separate, smaller, buffet for us with nice options. We could kayak for a bit if we wanted during lunch. The two locations for snorkeling in the afternoon, two 45 minute sessions made us tired but still not an opportunity to be missed as this granted us to sea a turtle by ourselves.
Overall the experience was a great one, despite seeing a lot of dead coral reef. Our guides were happy, helpful and professional.
Pro tip, don't forget to put suncream on your lower back and upper legs.
